2026 — Starting Out, Creating, and Experiencing Life
2026 is a huge year for me because it marks the transition from being a student into actually stepping into the real world. I’ll be graduating with my multimedia film and new media degree, and my main goal is to get my first full-time job in the field. I’m open to different paths like video editing, studio photography, or even dealership photography, anything that helps me build real experience and grow my skillset. I’m not expecting everything to be perfect right away, but I do want to be in an environment where I’m constantly learning and improving.
Right after graduating, I’m planning to spend a full month in Italy with one of my close friends. This is something I’m really excited about, not just as a trip, but as a creative opportunity. I want to practice cinematography and photography every day while I’m there, capturing different environments, people, and moments. I also want to start learning Italian, even if it’s just the basics, because I think immersing myself in another culture will help me grow both creatively and personally.
Creatively, I’m going to keep working on my YouTube channel, EwSkitMarks, with my friends. That’s something I don’t want to lose as I transition into working full time. I also want to start planning bigger projects, like a music video or another documentary, and really begin taking my ideas more seriously. Overall, 2026 is about putting myself out there, gaining experience, and not letting fear hold me back.
